05/10/2014 | 11:32:44 AM Awards "Best Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spanish campaign of 2013 - 2014"The Minister of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Isabel García Tejerina, delivered last June 25 at the headquarters of the Ministry, the awards for the Best Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spanish campaign of 2013 to 2014, in the categories of "Conventional Production" and "Organic Production".
With these awards, the Ministry contributes to revalue the Spanish virgin olive oils of higher quality and encourage producers to develop and market these oils.
Also aim to promote the image and market position of olive oil among consumers and promote knowledge and appreciation of the sensory characteristics of this oil.
In this edition, the oil that has received the highest score and won the Spain Food Prize has been presented by Finca La Reja, Bobadilla-Antequera (Málaga), which has also won the award for best extra virgin olive oil in category of "Organic Production".
